The hotel is wonderfully appointed as the thoughtful amenities, beautiful food, and comfortable beds. The location next to Suizenji garden is optimal. Most importantly, the staff is incredibly helpful. They were instrumental in helping us to ship oversized packages to our next destination. We are eternally grateful for their problem solving and commitment to service.

The hotel is right be the Suizenji park and the associated trails along the river. It's very peaceful and beautiful. Good for birdwatching. It's also right near the tram into the center of the city right up to the castle stop (Y180 flat rate) which is really convenient and cheap. The hotel itself is really well appointed and has 2 private and 1 public onsen which was really nice.

We made a mistake on our arrival date, the staff were wonderful, found rooms for us with no fuss and then helped with dinner booking at nearby restaurant. The private onsen was great and the rooms were very clean and spacious. I would highly reccomend.

The ryokan is great - luxury and tradition in one. It is near Suizenji Park and guests get free admission. That was a highlight.

Beautifull traditional room, right next to the garden we wanted to visit. Staff is very friendly and there is parking on site.
