The hotel is right be the Suizenji park and the associated trails along the river. It's very peaceful and beautiful. Good for birdwatching. It's also right near the tram into the center of the city right up to the castle stop (Y180 flat rate) which is really convenient and cheap. The hotel itself is really well appointed and has 2 private and 1 public onsen which was really nice.

We made a mistake on our arrival date, the staff were wonderful, found rooms for us with no fuss and then helped with dinner booking at nearby restaurant. The private onsen was great and the rooms were very clean and spacious. I would highly reccomend.

The ryokan is great - luxury and tradition in one. It is near Suizenji Park and guests get free admission. That was a highlight.

The rooms were very comfortable and the facilities were excellent. The onsen was fantastic! Best of all, the service given to us by all of the hotel staff was superb!

Beautifull traditional room, right next to the garden we wanted to visit. Staff is very friendly and there is parking on site.

The hotel is very elegant and the rooms are very comfortable. More importantly, the hotel staff were very helpful and kind. Our experience was wonderful!

It’s located at the beautiful park. Drive to reach is better than public transportation. The staffs were very nice.
